Gavin's Universe

By Gavin D McCall

Science is about explaining things.  It is not about evidence!  It is not about mathematical physics (religion)!  People tend to go with the easiest explanation to understand and they don't deviate from it.  Often times, people are willing to accept what they are told so they can fit in with the 'hip crowd'.  Well, I'm here to tell you that I don't intend to fall in line with the hipsters.  I'm here to tell you that there's a law against burning people at the stake in their own backyard.  If it weren't for that law I'd have been burned at the stake as a child!  Seems outrageous but it is true.  Within the last 50 years lynching was a common thing in many parts throughout the U.S.[1]  In that time, you'd have to be labeled black or someone who sympathizes with the black culture.  Within the 200 years before that, there were still witch burnings![2]  Why would we burn and lynch people?  Because we want to stamp them out, erase them, demoralize their life and their death.  Send a message to the rest of the world that they should fear the same thing happen to them. To this day, in some countries there are public executions including but not limited to lapidation.[3]

"The universe comprises all being in a totality; for nothing that exists is outside or beyond infinite being, as the latter has no outside or beyond." ~Giordano Bruno, On the Cause, Principle, and Unity (fifth dialogue).

Fortunately for me, I'm a witch in a time and place where they don't burn you in the backyard or hang you from a tree.  In this time of democratic ruin (blind socialist dictatorship) we burn people by shunning them from society.  We hate anybody who doesn't make enough money to survive to our level and standard of survival, which is quite bleak in terms of the reality of survival in the wild.  I think the majority of the people who think lesser of others will not survive in the wild.  That is my speculation.

Look at all the homeless people.  Most homeless do not want or choose to be homeless.  They are treated like scum and are allowed to be just that and be forgotten.  Same goes with children all around the world.  Children are abused, ignored, left to destitution and also forgotten.  I think you do not have to be a rocket scientist nor a super genius to see that even with all our advancements in science and technology we have done very little to help the human race advance.

What is the problem with the world?  I think most of our problems stem from ignorance.[4]  Why do I think this?  As soon as we realize there is something going on that is wrong we should do something about it.  Am I right?  Am I over simplifying by saying the ignorant are destroying this planet?  I don't think so.  With ignorance comes apathy and with apathy comes ignorance.  I have been one to experience apathy in the past but I realize that however indifferent or apathetic I am, it won't help solve any problems.  I am dedicated to my own education.  Self education is important to me.  I think that people need to take responsibility for their own education and ignorance.

What is my answer to this problem?   Education is the fundamental answer to all our complex problems.  Seems easy, right?  It is not.  Education is a battleground.  On that battleground you can be exposed to so much propaganda that you might just give in if you are of a weak mentality.  I say if we tried to explain away what is happening all around us we should at least use the scientific method.  After all, science is about explaining things.  If you have a better explanation for what is going on then you win.  Or am I wrong?  Perhaps you enjoy the weak explanation for how things work?  I won't judge; at least, it is not the business of science to judge.  Science is about explanations.  What's the best way to test the explanations?  Rigorous observation and use of the scientific method.

Science uses the scientific method. Contrary to the expectations of scientists, many people do not know or employ the scientific method!

I have some ideas about how things work but I don't have all the answers.  I'm still learning.  There's no stop to learning because we aren't god-like.  We are mere mortals experiencing.  The human brain continually grows new cells (as with the rest of the body) and is not restricted to youth.[5]  As a computer programmer, one of my side projects is to study and develop accelerated intelligence.[6]  In my studies of neurology, in order to model a virtual neural network, I am learning about how the brain works and its relationship with the body.  The most interesting thing to me about the brain is how it is capable of achieving consciousness and solving complex problems but the majority of people that have a brain are disinterested with how it works!

I don't know about you but I love learning new things.  It is the nature of the learned to be able to accept new information as it arrives.  I see a trend of narrow-minded folks that do not want to accept new information.  They enjoy the classical explanation for how things work.  I think some of them are religious about their fixed position on certain topics.  As it is, in U.S.A., we respect each other and our religious beliefs.  It is part of freedom of speech to allow people to express themselves.  It is not okay to disallow that right.  It is not okay to squelch anybody with an alternative point of view.  Nevertheless, people are squelched all over academia.[7]

What's worse than being squelched?  False articles.  False articles or fallacious articles are articles that are published in newspapers, magazines, and on the Internet, that tend to be biased one way or another but very often are filled with disinformation.  I say 'disinformation' to make a distinction between that and misinformation.  There is a difference between being misinformed and dis-informed.  News media is too old and too well entrenched to make the play that they are misinformed on most topics.  They simply choose to publish information that isn't true in order to battle the propaganda of an article that is true.[8]  Why would anybody do such a horrible thing on purpose?  To confuse the public.  To confuse the gullible.  To punish the dissident.

Renegade theories are gold to the advancement of the human race.  The Earth used to be flat, nothing could go faster than light, and leeches were a common medical remedy.  It took people willing to break out of those cosms in order to advance our culture forward.  It use to be the way of the established paradigm to simply murder the offending theorist.  The infection of economic hit men to the world are now the primary reason why whole sciences and technologies fall into obscurity.[9]  Economic hit men are part of modern day diplomacy.  They actually prevent overt war from occurring by bribing and eventually extorting developers of new technology.  The whole time this has been going on we've had the ability to do many things that the mainstream media don't want us to think we can do.  We've had the ability to power cars with wireless transmitters.[10]  We've had the ability to power cars with water.[11]  We've had the ability to get 300 miles per gallon in our cars.[12]  There are so many inventions that could make our lives better that have been squelched by religion or economy it is mind blowing.  I think what we need is a new scientific revolution.[13]  This means heads are going to roll, not excluding the witches of today.  I'm one of those many renegade theorists with a guillotine lingering near their necks.  I am not afraid of spearheading a movement for the betterment of all even if it means my death.  That is what the murdered theorists and inventors of the past have done for their crimes against humanity.  Better to die with honor than with none.

What is Gavin's Universe?  Gavin's Universe is a gestalt[14].  That is, in this case, the gestalt being the observable universe which is made up of countless objects that have shapes.  Objects are defined by that which are not objects, generally concepts, which have no shape.  I have sorted through all the good, bad, and the ugly concepts to figure out for myself what I think is really going on.  This is what I expect you do as well.  After all, my universe is your universe.  Don't let anybody tell you otherwise.  We could argue with each other until we're blue in the face but the moment we stop allowing ourselves to share our explanations we fall short of the whole point.  Are we really that selfish that we think our ideas are better than everyone else?

I'm not so arrogant that I think I came up with everything myself.  I am a young man and I've studied so many of other people's ideas and I can tell you I'm quite happy having my own ideas and I am willing to share them with anybody who wants to know them.  Maybe this bothers the established theorists?  Do they really fear that their concepts are easily challenged by mine?  If their explanation is so solid why should they care to ignore or deny mine?  It is very obvious to me that the scientific good-old-boys club fear their mental construct of reality will come shattering down around them when they accept, even in the slightest, any possibility that my explanation could be true.  Some people are still gripping onto Einstein's theories like he's the benevolent super hero of physics.  Did you know Einstein was a plagiarist?[15]  Yeah.  The guy hardly had an original thought in his head.  Did you know that plagiarism is a serious offense in academia?[16]  By the way, Einstein was horrible at math[17], among other buffoonery unrelated to physics and science.  I can sum it up with this:  people should look around for better role models, especially in science.

"using the technique known as 'The Often-Repeated Lie=Truth,' he has been made an idol to young people, and his very name has become synonymous with genius." ~Albert Einstein -- was he a thief, a liar and a plagiarist?[18]

The state of the education is in shambles.  If it weren't bad enough, the general public doesn't care about educating themselves (or thinking for themselves) and they'd rather wallow in the current trend, no matter how fallacious or erroneous the fad is.  Take, for instance, the current scientific trend of straight dog-face lying to our children.  This should be a crime to humanity!  We are allowing children to absorb mind bending crap and labeling it facts.[19]  I don't know about you, but the worst thing, in my mind, is to lie to children.  We have no good reasoning for it.  Being lazy or ignorant isn't a good reason to lie to a child, either.  The fact is we aren't teaching our children facts.  We're teaching them assumptions that have no true accepted scientific basis.  I am saying to you that there are many more plausible explanations for the universe than telling our kids that the big bang made it.  We have no proof of the big bang.  In fact, we have evidence to the contrary.  Ever hear of non-cosmological redshift?[20]  Bingo.  The big bang never happened and the theory is just wrong.[21]  I'll be quite happy when people finally put that fantasia to rest.

Gavin's Universe is eternal and awesome.  The universe proposed by established physics gypsies (modern day charlatans) is weak and incomplete, destructive and overwhelmingly dull.  I don't know what type of snake oil they are selling but I know it stinks.  Their universe smells like bovine scatology.  Here's a non-exhaustive list of what makes my universe better than theirs:
  • I don't know how big or old the universe is.  Those are questions, at the present moment, that are impossible to answer.  Even with the Hubble Space Telescope.  Even if you take the present theories about big bang, expansion, background radiation, etc., at face value, it is an unfathomable leap ahead to accept these notions without consistent uncontested data. Evidence contrary to established explanations, showing said explanations to be erroneous, require new explanations.  Also, since the universe is a concept and not an object, it can't be treated like an object.[22]
  • I don't think I know what the smallest or biggest thing is.  Again, more questions that can't be answered.  Still, some people would have you believe in Planck's Constant.[23]  Poor souls.  In my universe, we celebrate and explore the mystery of fractal existence.  With a thing like Planck's Constant, we can't explore infinitely small places.  Or maybe I'm wrong?
  • Photons have mass.  As anything that is affected by gravity, must have mass, by definition.  Duh!
  • Gravity is a particle (object) not a mysterious field (concept).  We should guess how fast it is and look for it instead of treating it like a magical force.[24]
  • Light is not a velocity limit.  Gravity breaks the speed of light.[24]
  • Black holes do not exist.  There are numerous demonstrable logical fallacies and inconsistencies in black hole theory and no evidence.[25]
  • Fields do not exist.  A field is a concept not an object.  Not true, you say?  Try drawing a field without using any objects.
  • Space cannot be warped or manipulated.  Space is a concept not an object.  Explanation:  space has no shape.
  • And more!
The above statements don't necessarily answer all the questions or offer the best explanations.  They should indicate that I am not a know-it-all bobble-head of established physics religion.  As an armchair scientist, I do have a rational lust for evidence.  I don't want the evidence because it proves my theory.  I want the evidence because it requires explanation.  Any explanation that occurs before the evidence is gathered...well...that is shifty and suspicious.  However, if the evidence supports the explanation, I am okay with it.  Unfortunately for the case of black holes, big bang, expanding universe, etc., I am skeptical.  All the evidence hasn't been gathered.  People are jumping to erroneous conclusions.  Need an example?  The age of the universe happens to be alleged fact but it changes as often as a computer simulation can show that a galaxy is older than the universe.[26]

Evidence contrary to established explanations, showing said explanations to be erroneous, require new explanations.

This article exists with the intent to raise awareness about some things that I think that people otherwise don't think about or don't know.  It also might explain to you why I am adamant about this subject matter.  I, like many other people, are tired of being lied to or bullied by idiots that can't think outside their box.  In the future, you will see more articles such as this and even videos that further explain my gestalt of the universe.  I'm not Carl Sagan.  I'm not Arthur C. Clarke.  I think for myself and I know you can also.  Give Gavin's Universe a try.  It's a whole hell of a lot more fun than the old paradigm!
